MODULE 1: INTRODUCTION
Introduction to “High-Conflict Strategist” certification, course goals, and what to expect. You will also meet your Mentors and learn how our company came to be.
MODULE 2: OUR CULTURE AND POLICIES
Learn all about the culture that makes us a truly unique player in the field of parental alienation, our systems and structures of how we do business, and professional conduct important to the business. This makes for a great template when creating your own business.
MODULE 3: WHAT DO YOU STAND FOR?
Determine “why” you are passionate about helping other parents transition through high-conflict divorce, what makes you unique, and who you want to work with. You will also set your personal goals…what do you want from this program?
MODULE 4 – ONLINE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
Receive an introduction to all the Pathways Family Coaching online courses, co-parenting plan template, and our flagship product, the Behavioural Pattern Finder digital timeline service.
MODULE 5: COACHING PHILOSOPHIES – PARENT MINDSET
Start learning the bread and butter of what we do, beginning with client mindset. This module focuses on common mindset obstacles that alienated parents face, and how to help a client overcome them.
MODULE 6: COACHING PHILOSPOHIES – COMMUNICATION
Learn how to communicate about separation and divorce to the children affected, and how parents can introduce new life partners in a healthy way. We will also cover communicating effectively with alienated children of all ages, communicating effectively with a high-conflict co-parent, and reconnecting with adult alienated children.
MODULE 7: COACHING PHILOSOPHIES – PARENTING
Learn how to respond to common difficult child behaviours, manage electronics between homes, and navigate gifts and holidays with alienated children.
MODULE 8: CONSULTATION PHILOSOPHIES – STRATEGIC PLANNING
Learn about common obstacles within the legal and mental health systems that prevent alienated parents and children from receiving the help they need, and how to develop a winning strategy to help your clients gain traction where they have failed previously.
MODULE 9: CONSULTATION PHILOSOPHIES – REUNIFICATION THERAPY
Learn why the term “reunification therapy” is a common misnomer prescribed by the courts; and how to help clients guide an unqualified mental health professional to recuse themselves from a case, obtain detailed court orders for therapy that reduce future litigation, find a qualified therapist to work with your clients, and prepare your clients for the therapeutic process to reconnect with their children.
MODULE 10: NICHE AREAS
Learn additional considerations when working with LGBTQ parents, how to manage extended family that may or may not understand alienation, and how to identify and manage high-risk family dynamics.
MODULE 11: DETERMINING THE CLIENT’S NEEDS
Strategy calls, or initial consultations, are an important part of the process of obtaining new clients. Learn everything you need to know to host a successful call including how to qualify if you want to work with the parent, build rapport, and choose an appropriate solution to help the parent find their road to success.
MODULE 12: ADDITIONAL RESOURCES FOR COACHES
This module includes a list of additional learning materials to advance your education as a coach and enhance your understanding of parental alienation dynamics, trauma and psychology.
